Very Rev. Abraham O. Kadavil, Corepiscopos (Kadavil Achen) received his Graduate degree in Theology (GTH) at Leonard Theological College, Jabalpur, India in 1958, followed by post-graduate work at the same school. Kadavil Achen then obtained his Bachelor�s in Divinity at Serampore College, India in 1960. Over the next 12 years, Achen obtained a certificate from the The Ecumenical Institute at Bossey (University of Geneva), a diploma from St. Augustine�s College, Canterbury, England, and a Master�s in Theology from Colgate Rochester Divinity School (Rochester, NY).

From 1973 through 1978, Kadavil Achen received certificates from the School of Pastoral Care at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital, the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene at Spring Grove Hospital, and the Pastoral Counseling & Consultation Centers of Greater Baltimore. As a result of his years of education and training, Achen has worked as a marriage and family counselor for over 32 years in the Baltimore area, served as the secretary of the American Archdiocese for 5 years, has been serving as secretary of the Clergy Association in the Archdiocese for the last 5 years, and of course has happily served as the vicar of our church for nearly 25 years.

Kadavil Achen was consecrated as Corepiscopos in September 2008.
